Liolaemus buergeri
Liolaemus buergeri, also known as Buerger's tree iguana, is a lizard in the Liolaemidae family. It is native to Argentina and Chile. The species name buergeri honors German explorer Otto Bürger. In Argentina, it lives in Mendoza and Neuquén provinces; in Chile, Curicó and Talca provinces. It prefers shrubland with rocky areas at elevations from 1,500 to 3,000 meters. It is omnivorous and gives birth to live young (viviparous). Its conservation status is Least Concern.
