The Lincoln MKS is a full‑size luxury sedan built by Ford’s Lincoln division from 2009 to 2016. It was manufactured at Ford’s Chicago Assembly Plant in Illinois and shares its D3 platform with models like the Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKT. The MKS is a front‑engine car with front‑wheel drive as standard and all‑wheel drive available.

Power came in two main forms. At launch it used a 3.7‑liter Duratec V6 delivering about 273 hp with a 6‑speed automatic. In 2010 an optional 3.5‑liter EcoBoost twin‑turbo V6 appeared, making about 355 hp (AWD standard on those models). For the 2013 refresh, the base engine was updated to a Ti‑VCT version of the 3.7 with around 304 hp, while the EcoBoost engine increased to about 365 hp. The MKS rides on the larger side, with a wheelbase of 112.9 inches and overall length around 204 inches.

Inside, the MKS offered a premium cabin with leather, wood trim, and available features such as a THX audio system, navigation, adaptive headlights, and a suite of safety tech like adaptive cruise control, blind‑spot information, and lane keeping. A backup camera became standard in 2014. In 2016, the MKS ended production and was replaced by the Lincoln Continental for 2017 and beyond.
