Lifetracks
Lifetracks is the debut solo album by British electronic musician Tom Middleton. It was released in the UK on October 1, 2007, and in the US on November 6, 2007, by Big Chill Recordings and Six Degrees Records. The album runs about 69 minutes and was recorded from 1998 to 2007. The title reflects Middleton’s idea of capturing different places, times, and people from his life. Many tracks had previously appeared on compilations under his earlier ambient project AMBA. The songs Shinkansen and St. Ives Bay reference a Japanese bullet train and a coast in Cornwall, England. All tracks are written by Tom Middleton.
