Licking Township, Pennsylvania
Licking Township is a rural area in western Clarion County, Pennsylvania. It was incorporated in 1804 and covers about 17.9 square miles, almost all land, with a small amount of water.
The Clarion River flows through the township, forming part of its northern and western borders and then cutting through the center near Callensburg. Licking Creek joins the Clarion River at Callensburg. The borough of Callensburg sits inside Licking Township as a separate municipality.
As of 2020, about 573 people lived in Licking Township, a little more than the 2010 figure. A 2022 estimate puts the population at around 566. The area is in the Eastern Time Zone.
