Ajay Barik
Ajay Barik, born 10 January 1976 in Cuttack, Orissa, is a former Indian cricketer who played for Orissa in the Ranji Trophy. A right-handed batsman and right-arm medium bowler, he played 38 first-class matches and 15 List A matches between 1996 and 2003. In first-class cricket, he took 96 wickets at 35.41 apiece, with a best of 5/18, and scored 140 runs with a top score of 50 not out. In List A cricket, he claimed 10 wickets from 15 matches, with best figures of 2/15 and scored 42 runs. He is known for taking a hat-trick against Assam in the 2001-02 Ranji Trophy.
