Tryblidium reticulatum

Tryblidium reticulatum is an extinct mollusk from the Silurian period. It belongs to an early group of shelled animals called monoplacophorans. The species was described by Gustaf Lindström in 1880 from fossils found in Gotland, Sweden. It lived in shallow water. The shell was about 43 mm long, 31 mm wide, and 10 mm tall. On the underside you can see muscle attachment scars.
