Leucetta solida
Leucetta solida is a species of calcareous sponge in the Leucettidae family. It belongs to the kingdom Animalia, phylum Porifera (sponges), class Calcarea, order Clathrinida, and genus Leucetta. The binomial name is Leucetta solida Schmidt, 1862, and it was first described in 1862 by Eduard Oscar Schmidt. Calcareous sponges like this one have skeletons made of calcium carbonate.
