Let There Be Love is a British sitcom that aired on ITV for two series from 1982 to 1983. It was created by Johnnie Mortimer and Brian Cooke and stars Paul Eddington as Timothy Love, Nanette Newman as Judy, and Henry McGee as Dennis Newberry, with Stephen Nolan, Ian Morrison, Claudia Gambold, Elspeth March, and John Welsh in supporting roles. The show follows Timothy, a middle-aged bachelor with a good job and plenty of freedom, whose life changes when Judy, a mother of three, enters his world. They get engaged and marry, and in the second series Timothy must become a stepfather to Judy’s children Charles, Edward, and Elizabeth, deal with Judy’s parents, and manage caring for Judy’s Alsatian dog, all while running their advertising business with Dennis. The series consists of 12 half-hour episodes, produced by Thames Television.
