James Leslie Randall (4 August 1828 – 17 January 1922) was an English Anglican bishop. He was the first Bishop of Reading, serving from 1889 to 1908. Born in Dorking, Surrey, he was the son of James Randall, Archdeacon of Berkshire, and Rebe Lowndes. He studied at Winchester College and New College, Oxford. He served as priest in Newbury, Sandhurst and Mixbury before becoming Archdeacon of Buckingham, a post he held until he was made a bishop. He died in Bournemouth on 17 January 1922 at age 93. After his death, a committee raised funds to place a memorial for his 56 years of service to the Diocese of Oxford. In 1902 he presented a decorated font-cover to Oxford Cathedral, designed by G. F Bodley, in memory of his late wife.
