Leonov (crater)
Leonov is a small impact crater on the Moon, located just south of Mare Moscoviense on the far side. Its outline is heart-shaped because the northwest edge bulges outward. The rim is worn and has several tiny craters along it. Inside, the walls and floor are fairly flat and featureless. The crater was named in 1970 after Russian cosmonaut Alexei A. Leonov, the first person to do a spacewalk in 1965.
