Lanmaoa carminipes is a fungus in the Boletaceae family that is native to the United States. It was first described in 1971 by mycologists Alexander H. Smith and Harry D. Thiers as Boletus carminipes. In 2015, it was moved to the genus Lanmaoa, and its name became Lanmaoa carminipes.

Taxonomy: Kingdom Fungi; Division Basidiomycota; Class Agaricomycetes; Order Boletales; Family Boletaceae; Genus Lanmaoa; Species L. carminipes. Synonym: Boletus carminipes (1971).
