Léone Boudreau-Nelson (December 9, 1915 – April 26, 2004) was an American-born Canadian phonetician who studied how people pronounce sounds, especially in French. Born in Somerville, Massachusetts to Acadian parents, she spent much of her career at the Université de Moncton, where she was professor emeritus and founded the Society for the Art of Public Speaking (Société d'art oratoire). She worked to strengthen ties between Acadia, France, and Louisiana, and helped start the France-Canada Association. She died on April 26, 2004. Her papers are kept at the Centre d'études acadiennes Anselme-Chiasson at Université de Moncton.
