Kyle Platzer (born March 4, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for Schwenninger Wild Wings in Germany’s Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He was drafted 96th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2013 NHL Draft and played junior hockey with the London Knights and Owen Sound Attack in the OHL. Platzer signed a three-year contract with the Oilers in 2015 and began his pro career in the AHL with the Oklahoma City Barons and Bakersfield Condors. After four seasons in North America, he moved to Europe in 2019 to play for KooKoo in Finland’s Liiga, where he posted 70 points in 108 games, then joined Tappara in 2021 before moving to Schwenninger Wild Wings.
