Seasonworker

Seasonworkers in the United Kingdom are seasonal staff who work abroad for a tour operator for up to eight months a year. They’re often students, on a gap year, or taking a career break. Jobs tend to be low paid, but include accommodation and perks like ski passes. They usually have lots of free time, resort discounts, and a chance to experience new cultures. They can have a reputation for partying, which has led to some backlash from police and authorities. Some workers for family camping brands prefer the title “courier” instead of “rep.” The work can be fun but is sometimes hard, especially on changeover days when sites are cleaned. Live tents are sometimes placed in less desirable spots. Some roles, such as sailing or jetski instruction, require qualifications.
