Kuala Sedili
Kuala Sedili is a village in Kota Tinggi District, Johor, Malaysia. It was part of Pahang before 1863.
History:
In 1956, Kuala Sedili was a small fishing village at the mouth of the Sedili River. Access to the port was by boat from Kota Tinggi to Mersing Road, where the river crossed the road. The Sedili River is deep and becomes saline a short distance upstream. The Public Works Department began building a road to reach the port in 1956 and likely finished it in 1957. The main village was on the river’s northern bank, but later development moved to the southern bank near the road.
