Davit Benidze (Georgian: დავით ბენიძე; born 15 February 1991) is a Georgian chess grandmaster. He earned the Grandmaster title in 2013, and his peak rating was 2530 in March 2012.

Benidze has represented Georgia in many youth events, winning four medals: gold at the European Youth Championship (U14) in 2005, silver at the World Youth Championship (U10) in 2001, and bronze at the European Youth Championship (U14) in 2004 and at the European Youth Championship (U18) in 2009. In 2006 he played for Georgia in the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad, earning a team silver and an individual bronze. He won bronze at the World Student Championship in Zürich in 2010.

He has won several international tournaments, including first prize or tied for first in the Georgi Tringov Memorial in Plovdiv (2012) and in Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, and Bitlis in 2013.
