Sacramento Sirens

The Sacramento Sirens are a women’s semi-pro football team from Sacramento, California. They were founded in 2001 and wear black, Vegas gold, and teal. The team is owned and coached by Nic O’Neal.

Over the years they have played in several leagues: WAFL (2001), WAFC (2002), IWFL (2003–2012, 2015–), WFA (2013, 2021), and WTFL (2021–present).

Championships and titles
- League championships: WAFC in 2002; IWFL in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
- Division titles: 10 across the leagues (2001 WAFL, 2002 WAFC, 2003–2008 IWFL, 2010, 2012 IWFL).
- Dancers: Sirens Cheer Elite.

Key history
- 2001: Won the WAFL divisional title and reached the playoffs in their first year.
- 2002: Won the WAFC league title.
- IWFL era: Won national championships in 2003 (over the New York Sharks), 2004 (hosted the national championship and beat the Sharks again), and 2005 (defeated the Atlanta Xplosion).
- 2006: Finished 6–2, won the division, but lost the Western Conference Championship to Detroit Demolition.
- 2007: Went 7–1, won the division, but again lost the conference championship to Detroit Demolition, 49–0.
- 2008: Record 4–4; missed the playoffs.
- 2009: 5–3; still did not make the playoffs.
- 2010: Went 8–0, won the Pacific West division, but lost the IWFL national championship to the Boston Militia, 39–7.
