Amberboa
Amberboa is a small genus of flowering plants in the daisy family (Asteraceae). It belongs to the Cardueae tribe and the Carduoideae subfamily. The genus was first described in 1832. Species of Amberboa are native to central and southwestern Asia. The type species is Amberboa moschata. Over time, Amberboa has been known by several other names, including Amberboa Vaill., Amberboia Kuntze, Centaurea subg. Amberboa Pers., and Chryseis Cass.
