Klüsserath is a small municipality in western Germany. It is in Rhineland-Palatinate, in the Trier-Saarburg district, and is part of the Verbandsgemeinde Schweich. The town sits on the Moselle River, between Bernkastel-Kues and Trier.

The area is known for wine. Klüsserath has about 90 hectares of vineyards on very steep south-facing slopes, some as steep as 83%. This makes it one of the Moselle’s largest continuous south-facing vineyard areas. The town stretches along the slope down to the Moselle for about 2 kilometers, with long parallel streets and small alleys.

Near the town, the Salm River flows into the Moselle. The B53 road runs on a flood protection embankment between the village and the river, a embankment built from 1927 to 1933.

Facts at a glance: population about 1,140 (as of end of 2023), area 11.70 square kilometers, elevation 120 meters. The mayor is Norbert Friedrich (2019–2024).
