Gheorghe Anton
Gheorghe Anton (born 27 January 1993) is a Moldovan former footballer who played as a midfielder. He was born in Chițcanii Vechi, Moldova, and is 1.80 meters tall.
Anton started his senior career with Zimbru Chișinău, playing there from 2012 to 2017 and making 121 league appearances with 3 goals. He then spent 2017–2019 with Sheriff Tiraspol, adding 51 appearances and 1 goal. On 25 January 2020, he signed for Zira FK on an 18-month contract. He later played for SCM Gloria Buzău (2020–2021), FC Brașov (2021), and returned to Zimbru Chișinău in 2022, where he made 17 appearances.
Internationally, Anton represented Moldova at youth levels (U-19 and U-21) and earned 10 caps for the Moldova senior national team between 2017 and 2021.
