Kii-Shinjō Station
Kii-Shinjō Station is a JR-West rail station in Tanabe city, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. It sits on the Kisei Main Line (Kinokuni Line), 283.2 km from Kameyama Station and 103.0 km from Shingū. The station has two side platforms for two tracks, connected to the station building by a footbridge. It is unstaffed and not accessible for disabled passengers.
The station opened on December 20, 1933. After the privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, it came under the control of West Japan Railway Company (JR West). Electrification was completed in 1978. In fiscal year 2019, an average of 40 passengers used the station daily (boarding passengers only).
