Kevade unelm
Kevade unelm (Spring Dream) is a 1927 Estonian silent film directed by Voldemar Päts. Only 1 minute 9 seconds of the movie survive. The story follows Enn Mänd, a principled engineering student from the island of Vilsandi, and Hilma Aamisep, a young woman from a wealthy family in the capital, who dream of happiness together. A jealous building contractor named Pilliroog uses his connections to pressure Hilma's parents to push her toward him, and he resorts to tricks and violence to get his way. The film offers a social look at the ambitions of people in the Estonian capital during the 1920s.
