Indotristicha
Indotristicha ramosissima is a flowering aquatic plant in the Podostemaceae family and the only species in its genus. It is listed as Least Concern and is endemic to southwestern India. It grows in rivers draining the Western Ghats in Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu, where it can be common in suitable habitats and can live as an annual or perennial. In 2022, a second species once placed in Indotristicha, I. tirunelveliana, was moved to its own genus Paradalzellia, now Paradalzellia tirunelveliana.
