Katha Kamamishu
Katha Kamamishu is a 2025 Telugu-language comedy-drama directed by the duo Goutham–Karthik. The film features Indraja, Karuna Kumar, Kritika Roy, Krishna Prasad, Venkatesh Kakumanu, Stuthee Roy, and Moin in lead roles. It’s produced by Chinna Vasudeva Reddy under iDream Media and Three Whistles Talkies, with music by RR Dhruvan. The project had a budget of ₹10 crore and a runtime of 112 minutes.
The story follows four couples who struggle with physical intimacy after marriage. Notably, Indraja and Karuna Kumar play a middle-aged couple who married after their partners died, bringing unique challenges as they learn to connect again. Each couple faces their own hurdles, and the film traces how they overcome them. Originally planned for a theatrical release, Katha Kamamishu released directly on the Aha platform on January 2, 2025.
Reception was mixed. OTTPlay reviewer Avad Mohammad rated it 2 out of 5, saying the film has a good idea but is told in an old-fashioned way, with emotions that don’t fully land.
