KTLK is Twin Cities News/Talk AM 1130 and FM 103.5, a conservative talk radio station serving the Minneapolis–Saint Paul area. It is owned by iHeartMedia. The studios are in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Technical basics: KTLK broadcasts at 50,000 watts by day and 25,000 watts at night with a directional nine-tower antenna. The transmitter is in Prior Lake. The station also airs on FM translator K278BP at 103.5 MHz in Cottage Grove and is simulcast on an HD Radio subchannel of KFXN-FM (100.3).

Programming: Local weekday show hosted by Jon Justice. The rest of the schedule comes from Premiere Networks, including The Glenn Beck Radio Program, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, The Sean Hannity Show, The Joe Pags Show, The Jesse Kelly Show, Coast to Coast AM, This Morning, and America’s First News. Weekends cover money, health, home repair, real estate, law, and technology. National news comes from Fox News Radio and NBC News Radio. KTLK also carries Golden Gophers hockey.

History in brief: The station has roots dating to 1923 and has used several call signs and frequencies over the years. It became a talk station on AM 1130 in the 1990s and adopted the KTLK calls in 2014 after a format and frequency reshuffle. It stands as one of Minnesota’s oldest continuously operating stations.
