KSVC (980 AM) is a talk radio station licensed to Richfield, Utah. It is owned by Douglas Barton through the Sanpete County Broadcasting Company and has sister stations KMTI, KMXD, and KUTCH. KSVC also broadcasts on FM translators in Marysvale: K253BX at 98.5 and K266CN at 101.1. The station carries BYU sports, CBS News Radio, local farm reports, and coverage of central Utah high school sports including Richfield, South Sevier, and Delta. KSVC first went on the air in September 1947, founded by William L. Warner, Sr., with help from his son William Jr., and was once branded as “The Voice of Scenic Utah.” It operates at 10,000 watts by day and 1,000 watts at night as a Class B station, and its low dial position helps it reach a wide area in central Utah and beyond.
