Adam David Griffiths (born 21 August 1979 in Sydney) is an Australian former professional footballer who is now a coach and the head coach of Perth Glory in the A-League Men.

Playing career
Griffiths began his career in Australia, playing for clubs such as Sutherland Sharks, Northern Spirit, Manly United (on loan) and Newcastle Jets. He also spent time overseas, including Oostende in Belgium, Watford and Brentford in England, and later stints in Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia and back in Australia with clubs like Adelaide United and Sydney FC. He earned two caps for the Australian national team in 2008. Known for his versatility, he played primarily as a defender and a midfielder.

Coaching career
In 2020 Griffiths moved into coaching, taking charge of Manly United and guiding them until 2022. He earned recognition as NPL Coach of the Year in 2022 after helping Manly United reach the Grand Final and develop an attacking style, and he received the Football NSW Gold Medal’s Coach of the Year award the same year. In 2022 he became an assistant coach at Western Sydney Wanderers, contributing to the team reaching the finals and achieving the league’s best defensive record in his first season there.

In July 2025, Griffiths joined Perth Glory as an assistant coach. He was named interim head coach in November 2025, and on 16 December 2025 he was appointed head coach for the 2025–26 season.

Personal life
Adam Griffiths has a twin brother, Joel, and a younger brother, Ryan, who are also professional footballers. He is also an artist and film director/writer, and he is married to Lily Brown Griffiths.
