Josiah Quincy (New Hampshire politician)
Josiah Quincy (March 7, 1793 – January 19, 1875) was an American lawyer and politician in New Hampshire. He was born in Lenox, Massachusetts, and moved to Rumney, New Hampshire after becoming a lawyer. Quincy served several terms in the New Hampshire House of Representatives (1824–1825, 1837–1840, 1850, 1859–1860) and was a member of the New Hampshire Senate from 1841 to 1842, serving as its president during that time. He died in Rumney, New Hampshire, in 1875.
