Joseph Murray, born 6 May 1967 in Georgetown, Guyana, is a former professional boxer. He competed from 1987 to 2000, fighting as an orthodox boxer in the featherweight, super-featherweight, and lightweight divisions. He won the WBC FECARBOX super-featherweight title in 1993.

Murray was mentored by Guyanese trainer Maurice "Bizzy" Boyce. He made his pro debut on 18 October 1987 in Georgetown, knocking out Keith Anthony in the first round. After winning 10 of his first 11 fights, he captured the vacant national featherweight title on 26 December 1990 by defeating Lalta Narine, and he defended it once against Michael Anthony.

He moved up to win the vacant national lightweight title in 1991 by beating Winston Goodridge, the fighter who had beaten him earlier. On 18 April 1993, he won the vacant WBC FECARBOX super-featherweight title by defeating Jacobin Yoma in Georgetown in a unanimous decision—often remembered as his best performance.

Murray then challenged for the WBC International super-featherweight title in Russia but was knocked out in the second round by Anatoly Alexandrov. He lost four of his next five fights, including a third-round TKO by future world champion Shane Mosley, and retired in 2000 with a 19–6 record and 10 knockouts.

After retirement, he became a boxing trainer in Guyana, helping young prospects develop their skills.
