Nicktoons (Sub-Saharan Africa)
Nicktoons (Sub-Saharan Africa) is a South African pay TV channel for kids. It launched on 30 September 2014 and is owned by Paramount Networks EMEAA. Based in Johannesburg, it serves Sub-Saharan Africa and is available on DStv (Channel 308) and GOtv (Channel 86). The channel broadcasts reruns of animated Nickelodeon series and other cartoons, in English, Afrikaans, isiZulu and Amharic. It replaced the African feed of KidsCo; North Africa uses the Arabic Nicktoons MENA feed. Unlike some other Nicktoons feeds, end credits are not shown on this channel.

Notable changes
- 2017: Kenya’s film board banned six series on Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Nicktoons for alleged themes, and Nick Jr. started a morning block.
- 2021: A NickMusic block launched, airing on weekdays after school.
- 2021–2022: Branding shifts, including a return to certain past branding styles and the reintroduction of some shows.
- 2022: SpongeBob SquarePants began airing in Zulu, with weekend airings on certain times.
- 2024: SpongeBob SquarePants began airing in Afrikaans starting June 17.
Nicktoons continues to offer kid-friendly animated content across Sub-Saharan Africa, with occasional language-dubbed versions and branding updates.
