John Sudholz (born 1 May 1946) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with South Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). A tall, strong full-forward from Rupanyup in Victoria’s Wimmera region, he debuted for South Melbourne in 1966. Sudholz was the club’s leading goal-kicker for four consecutive seasons from 1967 to 1970, and his best tally came in 1970 with 60 goals. He stood 192 cm tall and weighed 99 kg. Sudholz played 86 games and kicked 176 goals for South Melbourne by the end of 1971.
