John Schaeffer (born March 14, 1951) is an American sports and fitness trainer, author, and nutritionist. In 2002, he became the athletic trainer for Olympic skater Apolo Ohno. He specializes in sports conditioning, nutrition, and weight management. He is a five-time world champion in powerlifting and superheavyweight kickboxing. He was a co-owner of LJ's Fitness.
