Zeesse is a tiny hamlet in the Netherlands, in the province of Overijssel. It is part of the municipality of Ommen and lies about 23 km east of Zwolle. Zeesse covers about 1.6 square kilometers and sits around 7 meters above sea level. In 2021, only about 15 people lived there. The name Zeesse was first written down in the 1380s as "to Zese," but the exact meaning is unclear. For mailing, Zeesse is treated as part of Ommen, with postal code 7731 and dialing code 0529.
