Jim Hodges Harrison (born April 11, 1951) is an American lawyer and former Republican member of the South Carolina House of Representatives. He served from December 1990 to December 4, 2012, representing the 76th district from 1990 to 1994 and the 75th district from 1994 to 2012; at retirement he was the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he is married to Susan. He studied at The Citadel and the University of South Carolina. He served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve from 1973 to 2003, reaching the rank of colonel, and earned the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star Medal. In 2018, during the South Carolina Statehouse corruption investigation, Harrison was found guilty of multiple charges related to public corruption.
