Jim Bond, full name James Arthur Bond, is a New Zealand former rugby league player born on 23 July 1937. He played as a stand-off for the Papanui club in the Canterbury Rugby League and represented Canterbury, the South Island, and New Zealand.

Bond first played for New Zealand in 1961 on the tour of Great Britain and France, and he went on to make 14 appearances for the Kiwis, scoring one try. He remained in the national team mix until 1964 and was recalled in 1968, when he captained New Zealand at the World Cup.

After his playing career, Bond coached the University club in the Canterbury Rugby League from 1970 to 1971.
