Jeremiah C. Wells is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the UFC’s welterweight division. He was born on October 30, 1986, in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, and fights out of Philadelphia. He is 5'9" tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has a 74-inch reach. Wells trains with Renzo Gracie Philly and Extreme Evolution Fight Camp and holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has been a pro fighter since 2012.

Growing up, Wells played several sports and worked various jobs to support his family. He began training in MMA at age 24 and competed as an amateur in 2011–2012, going 2–1. He turned pro at PA Cage Fight 14, winning by knockout in the first round, then added two submission wins. He later fought for the Cage Fury FC welterweight title but lost by unanimous decision. After a win and a draw in CES MMA, he captured the CES Welterweight Championship by defeating Jason Norwood, then lost the title to Vinicius de Jesus. He kept winning with a mix of knockouts and submissions before moving to the UFC.

Wells made his UFC debut on June 26, 2021, replacing Ramazan Emeev and knocking out Warlley Alves in the second round. A December 4, 2021 fight against Jake Matthews was canceled at the event after a cornerman tested positive for COVID-19. He returned on February 12, 2022, defeating Mike Mathetha by technical submission in the first round. On June 18, 2022, he knocked out Court McGee in the first round, earning his first Performance of the Night award.

He then beat Matthew Semelsberger by split decision on April 22, 2023. Wells faced Carlston Harris on August 5, 2023, and lost by a third-round submission (anaconda choke). He suffered a split-decision loss to Max Griffin on February 10, 2024. He was slated to fight Niko Price at UFC 302 in June 2024, but withdrew due to injury. A planned bout with Andreas Gustafsson in May 2025 was postponed after Wells withdrew with an injury. On November 1, 2025, he defeated Themba Gorimbo by unanimous decision.
