Lisa Deborah Adams (born Bonchek; July 29, 1969 – March 6, 2015) was an American writer who used the online name @AdamsLisa. She advocated for breast cancer research through social media and her personal blog. Her online activity drew some controversy from traditional media.

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to Dr. Lawrence Bonchek and Dr. Rita Bonchek. She studied at Cornell University, then Franklin & Marshall College, and earned a master’s degree in sociology from Rutgers University.

She lived in Darien, Connecticut, and died in 2015 at age 45 after a three-year battle with Stage IV breast cancer, eight years after her initial diagnosis. She was survived by her parents, her brother, her husband, and three children.

In January 2014, Emma Gilbey Keller of The Guardian and Bill Keller of The New York Times criticized her for posting many updates about her cancer rather than fighting quietly. Bill Keller left The Times in February 2014, and Emma Keller resigned from The Guardian in April 2014 after heavy criticism. The Guardian later removed the piece.
