Florida State Road 15A
Florida State Road 15A is a 6.9-mile state highway in Volusia County that serves as a western truck bypass around DeLand for US 17/92 and SR 44. It begins at US 17/92 on South Woodland Boulevard in DeLand, continues west as part of East Taylor Road, then curves northwest on West Taylor Road. North of West Beresford Avenue it becomes South Spring Garden Boulevard. It passes near the John B. Stetson House and has a key intersection with SR 44 at West New York Avenue. The road continues as North Spring Garden Boulevard, crosses a CSX DeLand Spur railroad near the former industrial area between Wisconsin and Minnesota Avenues, and widens to four lanes north of Plymouth Avenue. The bypass portion ends at Volusia County Road 92 (International Speedway Boulevard) near Glenwood Springs. From there SR 15A leaves DeLand and runs through rural parts of Volusia County. The last signalized intersection is with Glenwood Road (CR 4088) before SR 15A curves northeast to end at US 17/FL 15 (North Woodland Boulevard) just north of DeLand. The route continues as County Road 15A to SR 11. The entire route is in Volusia County. Historically, there have been other unrelated SR 15A segments elsewhere in Florida.
