Edouard Sailly (April 20, 1941 – September 8, 2010) was a Chadian film director and screenwriter. He is considered the first filmmaker in Chad. Born in Abéché, he trained in France with Actualités Françaises. From the 1960s to the early 1970s, he made several short, mostly ethnographic documentaries.
