Jefferson Township, Boone County, Indiana
Jefferson Township is one of twelve townships in Boone County, Indiana, United States. It covers 46.47 square miles of land, with no water area, and sits at about 892 feet above sea level. The population was 1,464 in 2010 and 1,485 in 2020, with 544 housing units counted in 2010. The township contains six cemeteries: Cox Cemetery, Dover Cemetery, Old Mount Zion, Hiestand Cemetery, Taylor Cemetery, and Pleasant View Church Cemetery.
