Jef Johnson
Jef Johnson (born May 23, 1968) is an American clown, philosopher, and drama teacher. He explores ideas like the "state of clown" and "the emerging game." He was a lead artist in Slava's Snowshow on Broadway and in international tours, and has worked with Cirque du Soleil as a workshop director, clown-animator, and artistic consultant. He founded Jef Johnson's Clown Lab in New York and teaches at clown schools in Europe, Portugal, and Canada. His solo works include Open Space, Azar, Sótão, Sogno A Lume Di Candela, Sogno Al Silenzio Del Piano, Pinche Show, Sencillo, and White Noise.
