Bushell Park
Bushell Park is an unincorporated community in Saskatchewan, Canada. It’s located on Highway 2, about 5 kilometres south of Moose Jaw. The community is part of 15 Wing CFB Moose Jaw, home to the Snowbirds aerial team and the 2 Canadian Forces Flight Training School, where Phase II pilot training is done.
Bushell Park was created in 1952 to provide housing for staff and students at the nearby air base. It was officially opened on September 19, 1952 by Sybil Bushell of Fort Qu’Appelle and was named for her son, Christopher Bushell, who was killed in action during World War II.
Today, Bushell Park provides housing for military members and their families in Residential Housing Units, along with a small shopping centre.
