Jason Belser

Jason Daks Belser (born May 28, 1970) is a former NFL defensive back who played safety. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri. Belser played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners, earning First-Team All-Big Eight honors in 1991 and Second-Team honors in 1989.

He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the eighth round of the 1992 NFL Draft (197th overall). Belser spent most of his career with the Colts (1992–2000) and finished with the Kansas City Chiefs (2001–2002). In the NFL, he totaled 856 tackles, 14 interceptions, and 9 sacks. He is listed at 5 feet 9 inches tall and 188 pounds during his playing days.

After retiring as a player, Belser became the head football coach at Freedom High School in South Riding, Virginia. He is the son of Caesar and Evelyn Belser.
