99¢ is Santigold’s third studio album. It was released on February 26, 2016, by Atlantic Records. The album was announced on November 4, 2015, and was originally set for January 22, 2016. The lead single, “Can’t Get Enough of Myself,” premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show. A second single, “Who Be Lovin’ Me,” followed on November 25 with a music video. In December the release date was delayed to February 26. The third single, “Chasing Shadows,” came out January 14, with a video released the next day. The fourth single, “Banshee,” was released on February 11.

99¢ blends indie pop with dancehall and new wave influences. It was produced by Santigold alongside collaborators including John Hill and Rostam Batmanglij, among others.

Critical reception was generally favorable. Metacritic assigned the album a score of 71 out of 100 based on 26 reviews. Critics praised the album’s swagger and playful production, while some felt it was too busy or didn’t leave a lasting impression.
