Jascha Lieberman
Jascha Lieberman is a Polish violinist and violist from Kraków. He studied with Stefan Kamasa, Giora Feidman, and Lepold Kozłowski. Lieberman played in a string quartet conducted by Krzysztof Penderecki. In 1995, he formed the Jascha Lieberman Trio in Kraków, a group that blends klezmer, classical, and Balkan jazz. The trio performs traditional Jewish music as well as classical pieces and jazz, and has appeared on television, radio, and in concerts across Europe and North America.
