Japan Senior Open Golf Championship: A major tournament for Japanese men’s senior golfers. It is organized by the Japan Golf Association and is considered a major on the PGA of Japan Senior Tour. The event began in 1991. The venue changes each year; in 2025 it will be held at Sagamihara Golf Club (East Course) in Kanagawa. The 2025 course is a par-72 layout of about 6,997 yards. The championship is played in September, uses stroke play, and has a prize fund of ¥80,000,000. The current champion is Thammanoon Sriroj.
