Hyphodontia aspera is a species of fungus in the Schizoporaceae family. It belongs to Basidiomycota, within the class Agaricomycetes and the order Hymenochaetales. The official scientific name is Hyphodontia aspera, with the authority (Fr.) J. Eriksson (1958). The species has had several other names in the past, including Grandinia aspera, Odontia aspera, Odontia irregularis, and Kneiffiella aspera.
