Jamie Caliri, born February 22, 1970 in Buffalo, New York, is an American director known for music videos, TV commercials, and opening title sequences. He studied film, design, and animation at the California Institute of the Arts from 1988 to 1992 and is also a self-taught still photographer.

He has directed commercials for brands like Fruitopia, United Airlines, Pier 1 Imports, and Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, and he has done photography work for Capitol Records, Interscope Records, and Helios Dance Theater. In 2006, he explored animation ideas for a movie adaptation of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay and released a short concept clip, The Escapist v.s. The Iron Gauntlet, on Vimeo. Caliri has also worked as a DP on various short films and music videos and taught experimental animation at CalArts. With his brother Dyami Caliri, he co-created the stop-motion animation software Dragonframe, starting in 1993. He has two younger brothers, Mario Calire and Dyami Caliri, and the family changed their last name spelling from Calire to Caliri to reflect the original Italian spelling.
