2022–23 Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team
The 2022–23 Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team represented the University of Louisville in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I season. Led by 16th-year head coach Jeff Walz, they played at the KFC Yum! Center and spent their ninth season in the ACC. They finished 26–12 overall and 12–6 in ACC play, tying for fourth.
In the ACC tournament, as the fourth seed they had a bye to the quarterfinals, where they beat Wake Forest, then upset top-seeded Notre Dame in the semifinals before losing to Virginia Tech in the final.
They earned an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament as a 5 seed in the Seattle 4 Regional. They defeated Drake in the first round, Texas in the second round, and Ole Miss in the Sweet Sixteen to reach the Elite Eight, where they lost to Iowa.
