It's Goin' Down is the second studio album by American singer Ralph Tresvant. It was released on January 19, 1994, by MCA Records and runs 61 minutes and 12 seconds. Tresvant took a bigger hands-on role, writing and producing most of the songs himself, with three tracks written and produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Two singles were released from the album: "Who's the Mack" and "When I Need Somebody." The record received mixed reviews and sounded different from Tresvant's debut. Critics like AllMusic's Tim Griggs felt the self-produced tracks were weaker than the Jam & Lewis songs, suggesting Tresvant overextended himself.
